In a constant oscillation between withholding private intimacy and putting themselves on display uninhibitedly, Dorka Csoboth and Erik Novák are the creators, whole cast and crew of the no-budget handmade film. Video-diary fragments from two and a half years of a relationship that can not be ended, yet can not be continued either. An attempt to restore the personal and the immediate, the naïve, self-valued meaninglessness of love by pushing mediatization to the limit with the appropriation of the codes of home video, psychodrama, exploitation films and pornography.

SELECTED WORK

Psychiatric theraphy sessions merge with the casting situations of the porn industry in a girl's fantasy as she tries to follow the traces of her own failing recollection of her psycho-somatic illness.

The "sick girl" is a hot trope in itself with its set of gestures, visual representation; a whole iconography - a "sick girl" is deprived of her own image. Re/appropriation in the form of self/exploitation: the "sick girl", lacking her identity, identifies with the series of images of women put on stage for the same voyeuristic gaze, call it a clinical case study or pornography. It's always the same couch.

The Young Girl went to try Fatherhood for herself. She passed the first trial. She passed the second trial. But with the third almost came a cropper. What have you got there, my boy, asks the Fourteen-Toed Capon, sweet cousin of the Seven-Toed. A fold-out mirror, in which I cannot see myself, said the Young Girl. The dealer gave it to me for the road, said the Young Girl. I can't see anything in it, said the Young Girl. Let me take a look at it, said the Fourteen-Needle-Necked Monyok, and positioned himself so that he still blocked the way with half his buttocks in front of the diamond gate. What's in it if there's nothing in it, asked the Fourteen-Needle-Nosed Griffon Monkey, after a careful look at the nothing. 'My future Kingfather is watching me being split in two and having split sex with two men at once, who look exactly alike, even the fat swellings have been growing in the same place on the left front breasts of their Hungarian hunting dogs, said the Young Girl. I see, said the Fourteen-Necked Capon Monkey, and moved his weight from one foot to the other, so that he now covered the other the way to the diamond gate with his buttocks. Diamond leaves from the diamond trees of the diamond forest jogged softly in the light, light summer eve.

NEMMONDOMMEG [IWONTTELLYOU] is a collective of female artists who are tired of sharing the stage with men. Since their formation last summer, they have performed their ambient-influenced, intertuned performances in many venues. They believe that poetry can be a communal act, and by connecting it with other art forms such as music and visual art, they seek and create the power of liberation and emancipation.

dor99kka csoboth (1999, Hungary) is a performer + filmmaker working at the hybrid frictions of self-exploiting documentary and tender fantasy. Through a practice of overidentification with low-res media aesthetics – home video, pornography, kitsch – she pushes hypermediatization to its extremes, where it glitches into love + joy. The optics of the meatshot render the soul into a new materialism: wet hardware – intimately impersonal and eternally affective.

az előtérben little school girl a mikrofonállvány előtt áll, időnként belebeszél. (a szövegkönyv kottatartón?) Mellette felállított asztal laptoppal, onnan koordinálja az előre rögzített mondatok megszólalását (dor99kka ai-klónozott hangján) és a háttérben futó vetítést. a vetítővásznon két fő téma: 1) folyamatosan megy a dor99kka maszturbálás-videója (a benne elhangzottak klón-hangalámondással) 2) családi archív felvételekkel VJ-zés (fókusz: gyerekek!)
